CALM BALM is designed to soothe and relieve irritated skin. It can be used to reduce redness, itchy skin & calm inflammation.


Can CALM BALM be used on dry skin?

Yes, for added moisture, clean the skin and leave damp before applying CALM BALM.


How best can I use CALM BALM on my hands?

Before bed, wash hands so that they are clean and apply CALM BALM. Once applied, we suggest using organic cotton gloves overnight.


Can CALM BALM be used on open wounds?

It is designed for irritated skin and minor abrasions. It is best to avoid applying it directly to open or severe wounds. For open wounds, consult with a healthcare professional.


I was a little concerned that my skin went flakey whilst using CALM BALM. Why does this happen?

This can happen when the skin underneath is healing so the outer layer sheds. Redness can appear as circulation happens around the skin. This should pass. If it doesn't, stop using immediately.


Why does it feel gritty on application?

You may notice a slightly gritty feel during application—simply warm CALM BALM between your palms to smooth it out.

Yes, it is completely normal for Calm Balm to change colour over time. This occurs due to the natural process of oxidation, which happens when the balm is exposed to air. Since our balm contains natural ingredients, slight variations in colour are a natural part of its lifecycle and do not affect its effectiveness or quality.


Why does my CALM BALM sometimes feel slightly gritty?

This is to do with the texture of the organic shea butter used in the formula. This is natural and doesn’t affect the quality or effectiveness of the balm. To smooth it out, you can warm the balm between your fingers, and it will melt quickly, leaving a smooth application.
